Yes — the woven construction is one of the strongest chain styles for its weight. Match the pendant's weight to the chain width: heavier pendants belong on 4mm and up.

Can a rope chain be repaired?
Solid ropes, usually yes. Hollow ropes are harder to repair invisibly, which is part of the solid-vs-hollow trade-off above.
