Ring Size Guide

Ring size guide — hand with a diamond solitaire ring and a ring sizer set

The right size is the difference between a ring you never take off and one that spins, squeezes, or gets lost. Here's how to get it right before you order.

Method 1 — measure your finger

  • Wrap a thin strip of paper or string around the finger, right where the ring will sit.
  • Mark where it overlaps and measure the length in millimeters — that's your finger circumference.
  • Find it in the chart below. Between sizes? Go with the larger one.

Method 2 — measure a ring that already fits

Measure the inside diameter of the ring in millimeters (straight across the center, inside edge to inside edge) and match it in the chart.

Tips jewelers actually use

  • Measure at the end of the day — fingers are slightly larger than in the morning, and smaller when cold.
  • If your knuckle is much wider than the base of your finger, size for the knuckle and consider the larger size.
  • Wide bands (6mm and up) fit tighter — go up a quarter to half size.
  • Our lab-grown diamond rings are ordered in US sizes 5–9 in quarter sizes right on the product page; men's natural diamond rings run 8–12.
