Chain Length Guide
Chain length changes the whole look of a piece. Here's where each length actually lands, so you can order with confidence.
Chain length chart
| Length | On Women | On Men |
|---|---|---|
| 16″ | Choker — sits at the base of the neck | Short collar on smaller necks |
| 18″ | Right at the collarbone — the classic women's length | High on the chest, above a crew neck |
| 20″ | Just below the collarbone | The most popular men's length — falls at the top of the chest |
| 22″ | Upper chest | Upper chest — great with a small pendant |
| 24″ | Mid chest | Mid chest — the classic pendant length for men |
| 26″ | Below mid chest | Longer statement fit |
| 28″ | Long, low chest | Long statement length |
| 30″ | Very long | Lowest drop — bold, layered look |
Three things that change the fit
- Pendants add drop. A pendant hangs about 1.5–2″ below the chain, so a 22″ chain with a pendant wears like a 24″.
- Thicker chains wear shorter. A thick Cuban or rope chain sits higher than a thin chain of the same listed length — size up if you're between lengths.
- Neck size matters. The chart assumes an average build; a larger neck makes every length sit higher.
Layering? Wear 2–3 chains 2″ apart (for example 20″ + 22″ + 24″) so they don't tangle. Not sure between two lengths? Message us on WhatsApp at +1 (732) 290-5335.
