How much is shipping, and how fast?

Standard U.S. shipping is free on every order, no minimum. Most orders ship within 24–48 hours (Monday–Friday, excluding holidays) after payment is confirmed. Custom, engraved, personalized pieces and wedding bands can take longer. Orders over $500 ship with a signature required on delivery for security. International orders: import duties and taxes are the buyer's responsibility.

What is your return policy?

You have 30 days from delivery to request a return. Items must be unworn and unused, with tags, in their original packaging, with proof of purchase. To start a return, email us at info@amjewelrynyc.com — please don't send anything back before contacting us, as unrequested returns can't be accepted. Approved refunds go back to your original payment method within 10 business days of approval. Full details are on our Refund Policy page.

What can't be returned?

Custom jewelry is non-returnable — including chains made in a custom size — and sale items and gift cards are final sale. If you're unsure whether a piece counts as custom, ask us before ordering and we'll confirm in writing.

How do exchanges work?

The fastest route is to return the item (once accepted) and place a new order for the piece you want. Email us and we'll walk you through it.

How long do custom orders take?

It depends on the piece — a simple custom size is different from a fully custom design. Contact us at info@amjewelrynyc.com or on WhatsApp before ordering and we'll give you a timeline for your specific item. As noted above, custom jewelry is non-returnable.

Do you offer repairs and resizing?

Yes, we offer repairs and resizing on jewelry. Contact us about the specific item — tell us what the issue is (and send a photo if you can) so we can see what needs to be done and get it fixed for you.

How do I find my ring size?

Two easy ways: (1) wrap a thin strip of paper around your finger, mark where it overlaps, and measure it in millimeters — the length in mm ÷ 3.14 is your finger's inner diameter match on any ring size chart; (2) measure the inside diameter of a ring that already fits and match it to a US size chart. Knuckles matter: if the ring has to pass a larger knuckle, size up a quarter to half size. Our lab-grown diamond rings ask for your size (US 5–9, quarter sizes) right on the product page; men's natural diamond rings come in sizes 8–12. Still not sure? Message us before ordering and we'll help you confirm. Full chart: Ring Size Guide.

What chain length should I choose?

As a guide on an average build: 18" sits at the collarbone, 20" just below it (the most popular men's length), 22" mid-chest, 24" lower chest, and 26–30" are long statement lengths. Pendants add roughly 1.5–2" of drop. Thicker chains wear slightly shorter than thin ones at the same length. Full chart with a diagram: Chain Length Guide.

Are your diamonds lab-grown or natural?

Both — and every product page says which. Our Diamond Collection solitaires and tennis pieces feature CVD lab-grown diamonds, D-E-F color, VVS1 clarity, and ring center stones are IGI Certified. Pieces described as natural diamond (for example our men's natural diamond rings and pendants) are mined, earth-grown diamonds. The stone type is always in the product title and description. Do your watches come with the original box and papers?

If a watch includes its original box and/or paperwork, that will be noted in the product description, and the box and/or paperwork will be shown in the listing photos. Watches that don't include the original box are shipped in an AM Jewelry NYC presentation box.

Why do watches say "Request a Price"?

Our fine watches (Rolex, Cartier and others) are priced on request because availability and market pricing change. Tap "Request a Price" on the watch's page, use the contact form, or WhatsApp us at +1 (732) 290-5335 and we'll quote you quickly. Every watch is covered by our authenticity guarantee.

Do you buy, trade or consign jewelry and watches?

Yes — see our Sell / Trade / Consign page. Tell us what you have, send photos, and we'll come back with a competitive offer. Consignment percentages are agreed with you in writing before anything is listed.

What payment methods do you accept?

All major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club, JCB) and Apple Pay. Questions about paying for a larger piece? Message us on WhatsApp and we'll go over your options.

Can I finance my purchase?

Yes — we offer financing through Affirm on eligible purchases. Choose Affirm at checkout to see the payment options available for your order. For a "Request a Price" watch, contact us and we'll walk you through financing on that piece.

What's the difference between 10K, 14K and 18K gold?

It's the share of pure gold in the alloy: 10K is 41.7% gold (hardest, most budget-friendly), 14K is 58.3% (the most popular balance of richness and durability), and 18K is 75% (richest color, softer). You can watch live metal prices on our Gold Price page.
